The year has come to an end, and it is time to look back and reflect, plan and also celebrate Christmas. At the end of the year, the owners and employees of Defend Group had several reasons for a toast. The year 2005 was not only full of changes, but also one of the most significant in the company’s history.
A big step forward from the perspective of the company’s further development was the moving of the Research and Production Centre from Frystak to its own manufacturing and office facilities in Holesov. Here we managed to come by a land parcel roughly 7000 m2, so we currently have at our disposal the largest plant for the manufacture of mechanical security systems in Europe.
Another significant event was also the introduction of a new product, Defend Cargo. This is an electromechanical cargo space lock for light utility and freight vehicles, which is the only one of its kind, no only in Europe, but perhaps in the entire world. For up to now, the protection of cargo space has not been given sufficient attention, and remained in the background of the interest of manufacturers of security systems. Another proof that we are trying to develop and increase the quality of not only products, but also services, is the launch of a new service for customers of Defend – Defend Assistance. The year 2005 brought many other interesting events besides these, but that would take too long to tell. So be sure that Christmas celebrations took place in a pleasant, festive atmosphere, and we can but wish everyone a successful start to the New Year, 2006!
